Napa Valley – WINE Country:  I have been this place twice.  I loved it.  Mud baths are reserved several months in advance.  Twice I have been there, I was not able to book mud bath for my wife.  However, Calistogafun.com was a fun place for my whole family

Tecopa Hot Spring  Highly suggested:  Located in DEATH VALLEY, one of the hotest area & lower than the sea level.  One of the hot spring place I like the most.  Cost only $5, but it’s natural place.  Women and Men use separate location total nude.  There is one tub that allow for a family use.  I believe it’s $20 for 1 hour.  Eventhough, is closed door private, bathing suit or clothing is not allow in natural hot spring tub.  Less than a mile from this location, there's a natural hot spring Mud bath in open area for public.  It is not managed by any company or owned by anyone other than it’s a government land.

On your way return to Los Angeles, I recommend this place for last stop.  It used to be where only very famous movie stars and special VIP used to come here back in 1970.  It’s open to public now.  I have been here at least 5 times.  I loved it.  Your wife and you probably can use relaxation and body repair from all the traveling and driving before heading home.

With more than 16,000 public and privately-owned campgrounds nationwide, you can find them near popular destinations such as national parks and forests, along major tourist routes or interstates and even in cities or small towns environments. These campgrounds appeal to traveling families by offering a variety of activities to keep children busy.  Facilities at public campgrounds tend to be simple, but offer great scenic beauty. Public lands are popular for hiking, fishing, white water rafting and many other outdoor recreational opportunities. There are also some good Christian Camps and Retreats

Commercial parks all have "hookups" which means you can connect the campground utilities to your RVs systems: water, electric and sewer. Where you don't have hookups (called dry camping), you'll need to rely on your self containment systems. These are really creature comforts that let you enjoy your RV whether you have "hookups", or you're relying on your self containment systems.

At campgrounds, you can find a whole wish list of activities with amenities such as:

  • Swimming pools
  • Lakes with boat rentals
  • Fish ponds
  • Square dances
  • Hayrides
  • Tennis courts
  • Golf courses
  • Convenience Stores
  • Bike paths and rentals
  • Amusement parks
  • Petting zoos
  • Playgrounds
  • Movie rentals
  • Game rooms
  • Health spas
  • Whirlpools
